Last weekend I had the awesome opportunity to spend some
time learning from Kat Sloma at her a Sense of Place workshop at Selah {an art studio} in Las Vegas.
Friday night Kat, her friend Rainie and I wandered around
Fremont Street where there is neon galore. Kat was so kind to share some night
shooting secrets. She helped me with my camera settings and even taught me a
cool “light painting” technique (which I clearly need more practice mastering).
My attempt at the "light painting" technique. |
I will share some of my shots from Saturday in another post. What a great experience.
These are very good, so quintessential Vegas! Can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteLove Vegas. Great photos. Met in Kim's Beyond Beyond class.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy ~ I am the lucky recipient of one of your postcards from Kat's Liberate Your Art. :o) Your photos are so beautiful, and how fun that you had the opportunity to learn from Kat herself! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI live in Chandler so we are neighbors. :o)
