Kat taught her wonderful a Sense of Place workshop Saturday May 13th in Las Vegas. We spent the morning in a classroom setting. I really enjoyed her approach. Instead of
standing in front of the room with a Power Point presentation we all sat around
a table, sharing. Kat gave us opportunities to think about the way we each capture "place". We chatted about our individual styles and even shared a photo or two.
We took a break from the
workshop to enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the ladies at Selah {an art salon}.
Once the classroom portion of the workshop wrapped up we hit the streets of Vegas to practice some of the techniques Kat shared with us.
It was an awesome experience
and I would encourage anyone who enjoys shooting “places” to check out Kat’s
workshop.
It sounds like you had a marvelous time! Too bad our little plan to reunite our Oasis group there didn't work out ... that would have knocked their socks off!
